We are proud to announce that Beyond Basketball Academy has been invited to compete in the European Youth Basketball League (EYBL)—an incredible achievement that positions us as the first and only academy from the Middle East to join this prestigious European competition.

The EYBL, now in its 26th year, has a rich legacy of fostering young talent, with numerous players going on to successful NBA careers. Stars like Kristaps Porzingis, Jonas Valanciunas, Lauri Markkanen, James Nnaji, Yannick Nzosa, Davis Bertans, and Roko Prkacin all got their start in the EYBL, making this league one of the most respected platforms for aspiring basketball players across the globe.

This year, the EYBL will host academies from 34 countries, with more than 300 teams competing in various age groups. Beyond Basketball Academy’s U15 team is ready to make its mark, starting with the first leg of the competition in Roseto, Italy, from October 3-6, 2024. Our team is part of Group E, where they will face teams like Roseto Academy (Italy), Pamukspor (Turkey), Dan Dacian (Romania), Dlan Academy (Czech Republic), Oasis Academy (England), and Barsy Atyrau (Kazakhstan).

Guiding our team on this thrilling journey is Coach Dario Didovic, Beyond Basketball Academy’s Elite Coach and Technical Director, alongside Petar Apcev, our Academy Director. Their leadership and experience will be crucial as our players take on some of the best youth basketball teams in Europe.

After Italy, the team will continue their EYBL campaign with Stage 2 in Istanbul, Turkey, from December 12-15, 2024. This is a monumental opportunity for our players to gain international exposure, grow their skills, and compete on a global stage.
